Lead free Oxygen sensors

Lead free Oxygen sensors

Oxygen sensors with lead will be banned under Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) legislation from 2024. DD-Scientific has developed lead-free oxygen sensors that are not only compliant with the new legislation, but also provide considerably improved performance and lifespan.

DD Scientific’s lead-free sensors work in a similar way to current toxic electrochemical sensors so OEMs will not have to develop new and complex drive circuitry. They are stable over periods of 8 years and over and, unlike lead based sensors, they are ideal for use in acid gas streams.

The new sensors are available in DD Scientific’s 4 Series general purpose industrial package, the 5 Series package for emissions monitoring and combustion gas analysis and in a miniature DceL package for easier gas monitor portability.
