Recently we marked a proud milestone in the DD-Scientific story as we welcomed distinguished guests to our headquarters to receive the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
The award, one of the highest official accolades in UK business, recognises our outstanding growth and significant increase in international sales over the past three years.
We were honoured to host Nigel Atkinson Esq, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, and Cllr Louise Clubley, Mayor of Fareham, who joined us for this special occasion.
Our visitors were greeted by Daniel Davies, Rob White, and the board of directors before setting off on a guided tour of our factory. This offered a unique opportunity to showcase the dedication, precision, and innovation that goes into every gas sensor we produce.
The Lord-Lieutenant spent time speaking with people across all areas of the business, recognising the role that every individual plays in our success. His interest and engagement with the team made the day even more memorable.
The formal presentation of the King’s Award was a highlight of the day, with Daniel Davies receiving the award on behalf of the entire company, surrounded by the wider DDS team.
No celebration would be complete without something sweet. The day concluded with a locally made cake, enjoyed by everyone together. A small but meaningful way to mark such an important achievement.
