The NEW S+4OXLFF lead-free O2 Sensor from DD-Scientific
The groundbreaking new Oxygen sensor which changes the game for gas instruments.
Setting new standards - this revolutionary new lead-free oxygen sensor sets a new benchmark in performance, ease of integration and value proposition for gas instrument manufacturers.
All the benefits of lead-free - aside from the environmental and health benefits of moving away from traditional lead-based O2 sensors, the S+4OXLLF has a longer working life than other O2 sensors as well as many gas instruments, negating the need for periodic servicing of devices which is both costly and disruptive.
Without the drawbacks - the integration of traditional lead-free O2 sensors requires instrument manufacturers to provide them with constant power. The S+4OXLFF is unique in that it needs no constant power, breaking down the biggest barrier to adoption for lead-free sensors.
Built on innovation - we have leveraged over a decade of experience in lead-free O2 R&D to develop the S+4OXLFF. This genuine innovation in sensor technology is not only easier and cheaper to integrate than other lead-free sensors but it gives instrument manufacturers the opportunity to break the mould with the next generation of gas detection devices.
Lead-free O2 sensing without compromise.

Ultra-fast Start-up
With a start-up time of under two minutes from zero power, the S+4OXLFF changes the game for OEMs and end-users alike.
Without the need for constant power, the S+4OXLFF eliminates the requirement for coin-cell batteries or a trickle charge. This reduces complexity of integration and instrument BOM costs for manufacturers.
For mains powered instruments, the fast-start feature of the S+4OXLFF negates costly downtime associated with power outages, servicing and calibration.
The S+4OXLFF also saves manufacturers time in production by reducing the need for settling of sensors before end-of-line testing.

Industry-leading T90 response
A T90 response of less than 3 seconds (typically less than 2) makes the S+4OXLFF the fastest responding oxygen sensor available today.
The recovery rate of the S+4OXLFF mirrors its rapid response time, enabling manufacturers to produce more responsive instruments which exceed customer expectations.
Whether an instrument is responding to oxygen depletion or enrichment, faster is safer - buying workers time when it matters most and improving overall safety outcomes.

Best-in-class baseline offset
With a lower baseline offset than other O2 sensors, the S+OXLFF delivers more accurate and precise oxygen readings, especially at low concentrations.
The S+4OXLFF has a higher resolution than other lead-free O2 sensors, meaning it responds faster and more accurately to small changes in O2 concentration. This coupled with its ability to measure sub 5% levels of oxygen more accurately than others makes the S+4OXLFF suitable for a broader range of applications than its peers.
Additionally, output drift of less than 5% over the lifetime of the sensor gives end-users confidence in their instruments and increases calibration intervals.

Reduced response to rapid pressure changes
The S+4OXLFF is significantly less affected by changes in pressure when compared to other oxygen sensors, with an increase in output of typically 10 x less than others.
Thanks to the rapid response and recovery of the S+4OXLFF, pressure spikes also have a significantly shorter impact on output.
The result of these two factors is that pressure changes have a short and small impact on output rather than the large and prolonged change which is typical of other lead-free sensors.
In real-world conditions this translates to devices which are more stable, more accurate and less prone to false alarms in the field.

5+ year operational lifetime
With no consumable content, the S+4OXLFF has a typical expected working life of 5 years. This allows instruments OEMs to offer longer warranties than their competitors and gives end-users peace of mind.
Long-life O2 sensors negate the need for periodic servicing of devices which is not only costly for end-users but disruptive to operations, particularly for large fleets of instruments.
Where lifetime cost of ownership is a driving factor, the S+4OXLFF is unrivaled in value proposition.

Enabling the next generation of gas instruments
In addressing the longstanding barriers to lead-free sensor adoption, we are enabling a new generation of devices which offer greater reliability, have a longer working life and are more sustainable.
The S+4OXLFF is the culmination of extensive consultation with instrument manufacturers, a detailled understanding of environmental legislation and relentless R&D.
We are proud to bring the S+4OXLFF to market - a product which reinforces our commitment to advancing gas detection technology through innovation and collaboration.
