Our Leadership Team

At DD-Scientific, our leadership team brings together over 100 years experience in gas sensor technology, manufacturing innovation, and global business development. Driven by a shared commitment to advancing sensor performance and reliability, our leaders foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.

Daniel Davies - Founder & CEO

Daniel founded DD-Scientific in 2011 and remains CEO, overseeing the entire business and managing our team of Company Directors.
He is involved in the business day-to-day and leads business strategy, company policy and shareholder interaction.

Daniel holds a First-class honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Portsmouth and has spent the entire of his 25+ year career focused on electrochemical gas sensing. Having worked as a sensor scientist for BW Technologies (Honeywell) in his early career, he went on to co-found MRB Scientific, an organisation which provided consultancy and development services in the field of electrochemical gas sensors.

In April 2011, armed with over 10 years experience and a vision of becoming the No.1 global gas sensor supplier, Daniel registered DD-Scientific for the first time. Initially based out of a 500ft2 facility in Havant, Hampshire, Daniel began production of an innovative new range of gas sensors, the first step in the journey for DD-Scientific.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys watching sport (in particular Arsenal FC), spending time with his family and travelling.
